Position Summary: Saint Thomas University’s College of Nursing seeks qualified applicants for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Nursing Informatics program. Adjunct faculty are responsible for the delivery of high-quality graduate nursing education consistent with the University's mission, the College of Nursing's outcomes, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation standards. This appointment is online-only and focused on didactic and applied coursework in nursing informatics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct faculty members are expected to fulfill instructional responsibilities consistent with Saint Thomas University Faculty Handbook expectations and CCNE accreditation requirements, including but not limited to:- Deliver online graduate-level nursing informatics courses as assigned
- Implement approved course syllabi and learning outcomes aligned with:
- AACN Essentials (2021)
- MSN Program Outcomes
- CCNE accreditation standards
- Facilitate student learning through:
- Asynchronous online discussions

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:- Earned Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Nursing Informatics or a closely related field
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in nursing informatics, clinical informatics, health information systems, data analytics, or healthcare technology
- Demonstrated competence with electronic health records (EHRs), clinical data systems, and informatics applications
- Ability to teach effectively in an online learning environment
- Earned doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) in Nursing, Informatics, or a related discipline
- Prior teaching experience in graduate nursing education
- Informatics certification (e.g., ANCC Nursing Informatics Certification)
